Dr. Chirag Deb joined IIT Bombay as an assistant professor in the Centre for Urban Science and Engineering (CUSE) starting October 2021. After a 4-year stint as a postdoc at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, Chirag will work on urban issues related to energy with a focus on the building and the mobility sectors. Chirag will also be working on fundamental issues of building science in order to improve the quality of the built-environment in existing and emerging cities in India.
